The OLOFRC Mission.

The goal of Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Calendar is to have Our Lady's Rosary said 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for our Holy Father and an end to abortion.

Our Beginning.

The Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Calendar was inspired during the adoration of the Blessed Sacrement in St. Joseph Church (Raleigh, NC) in the early 1980's.  Fr. James Keenan, the church's pastor, suggested to the people present that they say the Rosary consistantly for our Holy Father and the end of abortion. With a handful of members, each taking a date and time, OLOFRC began.  Over the years, our membership has spread internationally and we continue to work towards the goal of a perpetual Rosary.

Why Our Lady of Fatima?

Our founding group had been blessed to take annual pilgrimages to Fatima, Portugal with Fr. James Keenan, our spiritual director.  The message of Fatima had reached our ears at an early age and inspired us to help promote Our Blessed Mother's message throughout the world. 

Family Newsletter.

In 1993, we expanded our mission to include the OLOFRC Newsletter.  With the addition of the Newsletter, we continued to spread the Fatima message while also including current events, monthly papal intentions, papal messages and news from our members around the world.  The Newsletter was originally published monthly but is now published quarterly.  You can view some of our Newsletters here.

Where are we now?

Currently we are still working towards the goal of a perpetual Rosary.  The Rosary Calendar, including all the members names and prayer dates/times is published annually.  The Newsletter, is published quarterly both via email and through the post. 

How to Join.

To be a member means to unite with all the Rosary Calendar (RC) members around the globe.  Praying for the intentions of the Holy Father and RC monthly intentions.  Members are encouraged to pray the Rosary daily as Our Lady of Fatima requested.  We specifically ask that you pray the Rosary with your family on the date and time you selected when you joined the RC.
